Scope of Works
Convil Group was engaged to deliver the Schofields Road Shared Path project between Railway Terrace and Tallawong Road in Schofields. The project improves pedestrian and cyclist connectivity along this key transport corridor through the construction of a new shared path and associated civil infrastructure. The works enhanced accessibility, safety, and network connectivity for the growing local community.
The scope of works includes:
- Site grubbing and excavation works of 8800sqm to prepare for footpath construction.
- Construct 7000sqm of new concrete shared pedestrian-bike paths.
- Construct 1 concrete pedestrian crossing.
- New kerb & gutter realignment along Schofields Farm Road and Schofields Rd intersection.
- Construct 8 insitu-cast stormwater junction and inlet pits up to 2.5m deep and connection to existing drainage systems with RCP lines.
- Install and commission floodlights and poles for the new pedestrian crossing.
- Install over 8000 trees and plants and 6100sqm of mulch.
- Lay 740sqm of turf.
- Install signage and linemarking.
