SCOPE OF WORKS
Convil Group was contracted to construct 5 roundabouts in the Fairfield LGA.
3 of 5 roundabouts were completed in 8 working days, including all concrete works, asphalt reconstruction, and provisions for additional streetlighting, to align with the school holidays and minimise disruptions to the local schools and communities.
Scope of works include:
- Sawcut, demolish and dispose existing traffic islands.
- Mill and resheet over 2000sqm of asphalt pavement.
- Construct 5 mountable central islands with red brick stencilling.
- Construct over 300sqm of concrete splitter islands with red brick stencilling.
- Construct concrete footpaths, and kerb & gutter, and kerb ramps.
- Install Road LEDs to illuminate the roundabout surrounds.
- Install signage and linemarking.
