CIVIL ESTIMATOR
We are looking to employ a highly skilled and experienced Civil Estimator to join our team. As a Civil Estimator, you will play a crucial role in our civil construction projects, working with both government sectors and private developers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive cost estimates for civil construction projects.
- Analyzing project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and clients to gather project requirements.
- Identifying and quantifying project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Utilizing estimating software and tools to prepare accurate and competitive bids.
- Preparing detailed cost breakdowns and construction schedules.
- Monitoring industry trends and market conditions to ensure competitive pricing.

CIVIL SITE ENGINEER
We are on the lookout for a talented and experienced Civil Site Engineer to become part of our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and overseeing civil construction projects.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in civil engineering, particularly in site engineering roles.

PROJECT MANAGER
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil construction projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and direct civil construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring strict compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Develop and sustain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Organize and schedule daily activities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to facilitate effective communication and cooperation.
- Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective measures as needed to meet project objectives.

We are in search of a skilled project engineer to join our team.
The successful applicant must have a minimum 3 years civil engineering experience. As a project engineer, you will play a vital role within our company.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a project engineering role
- Significant exposure in the delivery civil construction projects
- Proficient in project management software

CIVIL FOREMAN
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to join our team. As a Civil Foreman, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing civil construction projects in the New South Wales Sydney area.
Qualifications & experience
- 3+ years of experience in the civil industry.
- Past experience with Local government sector projects and requirements.
- Experience in major upgrades, traffic devices such as roundabouts, speedbumps / crossings, traffic signals and intersection upgrades, utility upgrades, pavement works
- Experience in pipe works, culverts, car park extensions including construction of new carparks, subdivisions, bulk earthworks, Embankment stabilisation works including landslips and sporting court upgrades, experience in other Civil Works is advantageous
- Tertiary Qualifications in Civil Engineer, Construction Management, or another type of Engineering is preferable
- Must have driver’s license and white card
- Must have good management and communication skills
- Willing to work all around Sydney Metro Area
- Experience working on council projects. Civil infrastructure, streetscaping experience is essential
Tasks & responsibilities
- You will be responsible for coordination of on-site construction activities to achieve project cost, time, quality and sustainability objectives safely.
- Overseeing and liaising with site resources, sub-contractors, suppliers, service authorities and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and successful execution of all projects.
- Programming of sub-contractors, suppliers, and materials deliveries.
- Planning and organising all tasks and work in advance to ensure the project is on schedule
- Developing and building strong working relationships with site teams, internal and external stakeholders
- Liaison with the office team to regarding contractual obligations
- Direct and guide all staff members on site to ensure all works are up to standards and adhere to specifications

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR - RESIDENTIAL CONSTRUCTION
Join Convil Group, a distinguished civil and construction company, which also houses a dedicated building division known as Benelong Projects. Benelong Projects specializes in residential and custom-built projects, upholding a standard of quality and excellence in every undertaking.
Job Description:
Convil Group is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to oversee our building projects. This pivotal role involves applying for and tendering projects, with a specific focus on residential building administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing documentation for CC, CDC, and OC for residential projects, while efficiently managing all paperwork related to building activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work alongside and to assist the project manager/s with the administrative functions of projects in accordance to the company’s management systems, contractual requirements and specifications and associated documentation
- Prepare vendor/sub-contractor contracts with the PM
- Review and update existing contracts
- Ensure that vendors/sub-contractors understand and comply with company contracts
- Ensure subcontractor packages are let within target budget
- Collaborating with engineers, architects etc. to determine the specifications of the project
- Negotiating contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
- Obtaining permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
- Procurement of sub-contractors and suppliers
- Prepare trade and material estimates
- Assess all subcontractor and supplier claims and invoices
- Maintain and close out all RFI’s
- Review and approval of shop drawings
- Co-ordinating all OC processes to ensure that all OC requirements are met and OC is obtained
- Maintain, update and record all project documentation including, but not limited to, procurement lists, contacts lists, RFI registers, non-conformance registers, document control and document transmittals
- Gain exposure to local government and civil work sectors
- Provide support to Company’s other departments when feasible.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Relevant years of local experience in contract administration with similar developer-builders; end-to-end project management in residential
- Relevant qualifications such as Bachelors degree in Construction Management or similar preferred
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong understanding of the construction industry, its processes, techniques and regulations including the new Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020 No 7
- Knowledge of CC, CDC, and OC documentation processes
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Team player with a can-do attitude and strong attention to detail.
