SCOPE OF WORKS
Wollondilly City Council has contracted Convil Group to footpath, cycleway and shared paths at multiple key streets across the Wollondilly LGA. Locations include stormwater installations and shared path construction. Locations include:
- Menangle Rd, Menangle
- West Parade, Buxton
- Menangle St, Picton
Scope of works include:
- Construct over 2500sqm of reinforced concrete footpaths and shared paths ranging from 1.5m to 2.5m wide.
- Construct 610m of concrete kerb & gutter, laybacks, and associated concrete works.
- Undertake bulk earthworks including 500m3 of cut to fill and 40m3 of cut and dispose.
- Reconstruct the asphalt wearing course of 580sqm and 377m3 of deep lift asphalt road pavement.
- Install stormwater drainage infrastructure. This includes installing 350m of RCPs up to 1050mm diameter, kerb inlets and junction pits and headwalls with rip rap scour protection. Drainage works involved installation of 15m of concrete encased 375mm stormwater pipeline beneath an industrial driveway serving heavy vehicles.
- Construction of a 35m boardwalk including steel substructure and pier footings.
- Install a new Wollondilly Shire Council specification bus shelter and seat including footings and pedestrian pad.
- Topsoiling and revegetation of 1500sqm of disturbed areas
