SCOPE OF WORKS
City of Canterbury-Bankstown had contracted Convil Group to undertake remediation works at Unwin St, Earlwood. The project brought improvements to the failed asphalt pavement, new footpaths, and upgrades to the stormwater drainage network.
The scope of works include:
- Excavation and disposal of 250T of contaminated soil.
- Site clearing, grubbing and regrading works to allow for construction of footpaths and asphalt pavement.
- Realignment and reconstruction of 133m of kerb and gutter and laybacks.
- Construction of footpaths and residential driveways.
- 350sqm of asphalt resheeting and pavement extension, including treatment of soft spots.
- Construction of a concrete retaining wall and concrete edging.
- Construction of rock-embedded concrete swale and installation of sandstone riprap.
- Modifications to the stormwater drainage system, including installation of a box culvert.
- Tree planting, turfing, and landscaping maintenance.
- Signage, linemarking, fencing, and street furniture installation.
