SCOPE OF WORKS
Canterbury-Bankstown Council had contracted Convil to undertake construction works along Fore St, Canterbury. This included construction of 2 pedestrian crossings along a critical road corridor and upgrades to the adjoining shared pedestrian-cycleway pathways.
The scope of works for this project involved:
- Construction of 2 pedestrian crossings.
- Resheeting 114 T of asphalt.
- Construction of 27m of reinforced block retaining wall.
- Realignment and reconstruction of 138 m of kerb & gutter.
- Reconstruction of 550 sqm of footpaths, shared paths and driveways.
- Construction of 6 kerb side islands.
- Stormwater drainage works, including construction of a kerb inlet pit and modifications to existing stormwater infrastructure.
- Planting and returfing works.
- Signage, Linemarking, bollard & tactile installation.
