SCOPE OF WORKS
Convil Group has been contracted by Blue Mountains City Council to undertake the upgrades of 3 intersections and upgrades to an escarpment road section along Old Bathurst Road.
The scope of works include:
Old Bathurst Rd West:
- Construct 2 roundabouts and 90sqm of median and kerbside islands.
- 630sqm of asphalt resheeting.
- Undertake restoration works to existing median islands and pram ramps.
- Install plants and shrubs to traffic islands.
- Extensive linemarking installations and signage.
Old Bathurst Rd East:
- Shoulder widening and extension works at 3 road bends, including boxout, roadbase installation, and asphalt installation.
- Install TL4 guardrails.
- Install and commission 2x solar-powered Vehicle-Activated-Signs (VAS).
- Install audio-tactile linemarking.
