SCOPE OF WORKS
Convil Group was contracted to undertake reconstruction of Michaela Howie Playground to revitalise the aging beachfront playground at Dee Why Beach.
The upgrade enhanced accessibility, play opportunities and visitor amenity through the delivery of new play equipment, improved landscaping and associated civil works, providing a safe and inviting destination for families and the local community.
This project’s scope of works includes the following:
- Demolish existing softfall, turf and block wall.
- Construct Class 2 Finish curved concrete walls and stairs.
- Construct reinforced concrete slabs and coloured concrete slabs.
- Install over 100sqm of rubber Softfall.
- Install over 275sqm of synthetic turf.
- Coordinate and install furniture, playground equipment, fencing, gates and tactiles.
