SCOPE OF WORKS
Blue Mountains City Council engaged Convil Group to deliver the Pulpit Rock Road Improvement Works in Blackheath. The project involved extensive subgrade stabilisation and asphalt pavement construction to remediate poor ground conditions, restore reliable road access, and improve stormwater management and erosion control.
The scope of works included:
- Cut and fill of over 420m3 of soil for batters and road construction.
- Install box culverts and headwalls beneath the road.
- Cement-Stabilisation of 5300sqm of roadbase.
- Construction of 5600sqm of asphalt pavement.
- Construct 4 asphalt speed humps.
- Construct 1050m of various profiles of table drains.
- Install linemarking, fixtures and signs.
- Install sandstone logs.
