SCOPE OF WORKS
- Excavation and compaction of several thousands of cubes of material for cut and fill operations.
- Safe excavation and disposal of several thousand tonnes of asbestos-contaminated material, accompanied by the installation of thousands of square metres of orange Hi-Vis geotextile warning layer.
- Placement and compaction of more than 6300 tonnes of structural fill and roadbase.
- Installation of headwalls and riprap structures as per project specifications.
- Implementation of biofiltration stormwater pits and Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) installations.
- Construction of various kerb and gutter configurations, including reinforcement dish drain, slotted kerb, barrier, and mountable kerbs.
- Construction of multiple reinforced concrete raised threshold and footpath.
- Establishment of biofiltration islands and blister islands to enhance environmental sustainability.
- Application of several thousands of square metres of asphaltic concrete surfacing.
- Reconstruction of pits, including grates and lintels.
- Made provisions for the installation of electrical boom gates, including underboring.
- Demolition of steel beams and concrete-reinforced footings and walls from a heritage coal hopper.
- Constructed a hopper bridging structure to showcase the heritage hopper beneath the footpath, including the installation of steel rebar, waffle pods, concrete for a suspended slab, 360UB57 steel beams and angles, fake coloured coal, a glass walkable surface panel, and brass feature balustrades.
- Installation of guardrail and terminals, and pedestrian fencing.
- Construction of concrete block retaining walls with footings.
- Laying of turf and several thousand trees and shrubs.
- Installation of various signage and line marking.
