SCOPE OF WORKS
As part of Hawkesbury City Council’s Flood Recovery program, Convil Group stabilised 3 separate embankments through the installation of sandstone block retaining walls at all 3 sites, with associated earthworks and drainage systems.
The 3 separate embankments were located at:
- 306 Grono Farm Rd, Wilberforce
- 591 Tizzana Rd, Ebenezer
- 67 Reedy Rd, Cattai
The scope of works at the sites included:
- Executed 750T of excavation and disposal for embankment construction.
- Installed over 650 sandstone blocks for retaining walls and sandstone logs.
- Installed stormwater pipes, including the construction of new pits and spoon drains.
- Installed draining granular fill behind retaining walls.
- Laid tonnes of structural fill soil.
- Installed graded gravel drains wrapped in geotextile with subsoil pipes.
- Laid rock scour protection.
- Removed and replaced guardrails.
- Performed landscaping works, including turfing and tree installation.
