SCOPE OF WORKS

Factory Rd Shared Path project involved significant pedestrian, cyclist, and vehicle improvements along Factory Rd and surrounding streets, including pavement construction, drainage installations, lighting upgrades, and landscaping works.

This project provides pedestrians and cyclists with a safe and accessible route connecting Glenmore Park, Regentville, and the Nepean River, linking seamlessly with the existing network at Bundarra Road, Cross Road and the M4 Motorway.

The scope of works at Factory Rd, Regentville included:

  • Construct 6000sqm of new concrete shared pedestrian-bike pathways.
  • Construct 4 new concrete crossings for pedestrians and cyclists.
  • Construct over 1000m of new kerb and gutter.
  • Install 781m of RCP, size ranging from 375mm to 675mm.
  • Construct 27 new storm water pits including grates, lintels, extended chambers for oversized pits up to 4.2m wide.
  • Install 4.2m wide box culverts and headwalls.
  • Install 850m of 160mm dia. HDPE high pressure water main.
  • Major electrical overhead works including the demolition and installation of new 31 HV/LV poles including over 8000m of overhead HV/LV conductors.
  • Major bulk earthworks and regrading works.
  • Resurfacing 4450sqm for new asphaltic pavement widening including full depth pavement up to 350mm.
  • Construct 290m of up to 1.5m-high block retaining walls including screw piling, concrete footings, core infill and pedestrian cyclist safety railing.
  • Install 200 trees including tree pits and mass planting of shrubs.
  • 10,000sqm of turfing.
  • Construct bus stops and fixtures.
  • Undertake signage installation and linemarking along the entire site extent.
  • Install over 500m of property boundary fencing.
  • Utility Pit adjustments.
