SCOPE OF WORKS
This project includes restoration works and upgrades to different parks within the Inner West Council area. The scope of works included:
- Reconstruction and construction of over 6000m2 of new reinforced concrete footpath and asphalt footpaths to match existing. Includes plain and coloured concrete as well as pebblecrete.
- Construction of over 700m2 of porous rubber paving on an aggregate base.
- Construction of kerb and gutter, concrete ramps, and concrete hobs.
- Brick paver restoration.
- Construction of over 750m2 of cement stabilised decomposed granite paving.
- Bulk earthworks.
- Construction of new pits and grates.
- Service and pit adjustments throughout various parks. Replacement of pipe, junction lids and pit adjustments.
- Installation of several Gatic lid covers.
- Tree and vegetation management/protection in consultation with an engaged arborist.
- Landscaping works including major turfing and planting.
- Installation of root barrier system.
- Relocation of park furniture and play equipment.
- Construction of sandstone block retaining walls.
- Restoration of concrete stairs.
- Reinstatement of several furniture fixtures and signage.
