SCOPE OF WORKS
City of Parramatta contracted Convil Group to complete a traffic facilities upgrade in the Parramatta LGA at:
– Ballandella Road, Toongabbie
– Ward Street, Carlingford
– Avenue of Oceania, Newington
– High Street, Harris Park
The scope of works includes:
- Construction of 4 new full depth coloured pedestrian crossings including allowances for cycleway lanes.
- Reconstruction and construction of new sag drainage pits.
- Installation of RCPs including cast in situ concrete support cradles.
- Re-sheeting of asphaltic pavement.
- Reconstruction of concrete footpath and cycleways.
- Regrading and reconstruction of pram ramps to suit new raised threshold.
- Reconstruction of Kerb & Gutter.
- Construction of a new masonry block retaining wall with concrete footing and drainage.
- Landscaping works.
- Installation of various rubber speed cushions.
- Utility adjustments.
- Installation of new RMS fencing.
- Installation of signage and Linemarking to suit new raised pedestrian crossings.
- Installation of steel trench drains to bridge gutters.
- Reconstruction of vehicle crossings and laybacks (residential and heavy duty).
