SCOPE OF WORKS
City of Canterbury-Bankstown had awarded Convil Group to complete road and pedestrian upgrades to Earlwood Town Centre. The project consisted of works at 9 locations within Earlwood’s HPAA. The scope of works includes:
- Removal of 17 trees located outside shopfronts in a high-density area.
- Excavation and removal of 350 sqm of pavers, footpaths, kerb ramps, islands, kerb & gutter including laybacks, dish drains and lintels & frames.
- Stormwater upgrade involving installation of RCP, pits, extended chamber pits including lintels, and grates and frames to suit.
- Realignment of kerb & gutter including adjustment to levels. Includes the adjustment of levels for the footpath and road levels to suit.
- 650T of asphalting resheeting including intersections, carpark entries, road pavement and thresholds.
- Construction of 11 raised asphalt speedhumps including apron resheeting.
- Construction of 3 reinforced concrete thresholds.
- Construction of a new concrete raised pedestrian crossing including kerb & gutter realignment and hardstand construction.
- Reconstructing of 2 existing concrete raised pedestrian crossings.
- Construction of concrete, paver pavements and permeable paving.
- Installation of 21sqm of tactile indicators and 100 m of RMS Type 5 fencing, handrails, bollards, and street furniture.
- Planting of 15 x 400L trees including tree pits and root barrier systems in an area with a significant number of services.
- Landscaping, planting and turf installation.
- Linemarking and signage associated with all raised thresholds and other road modifications.
